Session 6
2.
When the player reaches a screen for the first time he/she is shown how to move via in-faded finger gestures. Feedback is given by repeating tasks that you did wrong, on the next patient. Direct Feedback one can see when time or health-points drop.

The player can see the game-progress via checkpoints during the game. Checkpoints include 3 victims that you have to heal. Only when achieved you can start from this particular checkpoint next time (on the map you can see the succeeded checkpoints). If you fail you have to re-do the previous 3 victims.

Session 5
S.M.A.T is a third person Stealth game which is based on giving health-treatment to people who were injured from a villain in the neighborhood.
The target group is mainly for teenagers and adults (PEGI12) who want to refresh or improve their first-aid knowledge. (Especially for civil service workers/trainees)

How to make the game gender neutral?
Paramedic-Man is a likeable character who appeals to both gender. Furthermore game researches show that men like to get consequences when they do something wrong in a game. Women on the other hand like to get feedback that they made a mistake and can then continue. In S.M.A.T we made a compromise: During the game you pass checkpoints and when you loose a patient you lose but you can start from the last checkpoint you passed.

Why will the game appeal to the audience?
The game appeals to the audience because it simulates situations the audience can encounter in the daily life. Also it is supposed to improve first aid knowledge for the driver license for example.
